About Will
I grew up in the 1960s as a dyslexic kid, which made school a real challenge. Constantly being told you’re “thick” is tough, but it taught me something important: to back myself, stay curious, and keep experimenting until I found what worked for me.
After university, I worked for several large organisations, including BT and Ernst & Young. Attributes that hadn’t helped at school, like spotting patterns, simplifying complexity, and solving problems from unconventional angles became a real advantage.
Eventually, I left corporate life to focus on what excited me most: helping individuals and teams understand each other better and work through tensions rather than skate around them.
Wherever I worked, I encountered the same issue: talent wasn’t the problem - behaviour under pressure was. That’s where plans go wrong and opportunities get missed.
This experience led me to invent Packtypes and spend two decades developing Psychometric Feedback™, and I’m exceptionally proud of what we’ve achieved.
What motivates me is knowing that people are capable of far more than they, or others, often realise. I love helping people succeed and grow simply by being more curious, experimenting more, and asking for more feedback.
